Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different kind of ice cream?

Sure, you can use whatever ice cream you’d like for this float. Sorbet might be a good choice! Others may enjoy frozen yogurt instead of ice cream as well.

Can I use frozen strawberries?

Yes, you will have no problem using frozen strawberries. Using frozen berries will most likely result in a thicker float, and may resemble more of a slushie consistency.

Can I use a different soda?

Yes, there are many options you can choose aside from club soda for this recipe. Though seltzer water is very similar to club soda, some may prefer the taste of one over the other. For adults, you can use an alcohol-based seltzer. Even a lemon-lime soda like 7UP or Sprite would be worth experimenting with.
